The audience was convinced that Akif Akın's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aivars Tautvaiss was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Blackblue United's Tomas Öhlmann got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 12th match minute, ALASKU TSG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Güntekin Koca to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Blackblue United getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Maximiliano Abuleta hit a great ball. In the 18th match minute, Blackblue United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durval Proença to maneuver through the defense. After 19 played minutes Blackblue United got a freekick which was hit by Durval Proença. Aivars Tautvaiss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tunç Akkaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ALASKU TSG were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Blackblue United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Garip Kadrican took the corner. Aivars Tautvaiss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tunç Akkaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 33rd minute of the game Aytunç Talaz made a throw-in which Güntekin Koca played forward. In the 35th minute of the game Güntekin Koca made a throw-in which Tunç Akkaya played forward. 39 minutes into the match, Tunç Akkaya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aivars Tautvaiss. Blackblue United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tunç Akkaya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Sixto Seijas struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Francisco Barrionuevo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blackblue United. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sixto Seijas to make the kick off. Tunç Akkaya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aivars Tautvaiss having to make a save. Francisco Barrionuevo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Seijas in the 56th minute of play. After some careless play in the ALASKU TSG defense, Sixto Seijas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francisco Barrionuevo. The ALASKU TSG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francisco Barrionuevo should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tunç Akkaya in the 60th minute of play forced Blackblue United's goalkeeper Aivars Tautvaiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tunç Akkaya received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aivars Tautvaiss came out and tried to block the shot, but Tunç Akkaya slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 64th minute. Aivars Tautvaiss came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by ALASKU TSG's Tunç Akkaya. But to his dismay, Tunç Akkaya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 69 minutes into the game, ALASKU TSG's Tunç Akkaya nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aivars Tautvaiss made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Tunç Akkaya scored 1-5 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aivars Tautvaiss, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind ALASKU TSG's goalkeeper Francisco Barrionuevo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tunç Akkaya took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aivars Tautvaiss. Aivars Tautvaiss dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Sixto Seijas took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisco Barrionuevo. Francisco Barrionuevo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-6. After a defensive mix-up in Blackblue United's zone, Tunç Akkaya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aivars Tautvaiss came out of the goal and Tunç Akkaya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelino Ruberte made in the 90th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sixto Seijas. If Tunç Akkaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match was over ALASKU TSG could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Blackblue United throughout the match.
