Vassilis Vonortas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aivars Tautvaiss having to make a save. 12 minutes into the match, Blackblue United's goal looked a bit too open when Vassilis Vonortas came free, but Aivars Tautvaiss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Vassilis Vonortas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aivars Tautvaiss was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lastra Pinga came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Blackblue United's Sixto Seijas. But to his dismay, Sixto Seijas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A nice corner shot did that Sixto Seijas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lastra Pinga quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 26 minutes, Durval Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blackblue United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Durval Proença was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Vassilis Vonortas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lastra Pinga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Seijas in the 33rd minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Blackblue United's goal looked a bit too open when Vassilis Vonortas came free, but Aivars Tautvaiss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Blackblue United getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Erkin Ergüven hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Vassilis Vonortas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aivars Tautvaiss was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 71st minute, Vassilis Vonortas made a precise shot to the right of Aivars Tautvaiss. Blackblue United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Lastra Pinga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Seijas in the 80th minute of the match.
