Marcus Allbäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aivars Tautvaiss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Allbäck in the 36th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Antonio Michael made the kick off in the second half. Marcus Allbäck had several of the Blackblue United's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 51 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Aivars Tautvaiss as he didn't even see the shot coming. Aivars Tautvaiss made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Michael in the 53rd minute. Aivars Tautvaiss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Allbäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. González Llarena kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Blackblue United's Aivars Tautvaiss proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Blackblue United from getting a goal against them. Sledgehammer KO were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Blackblue United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Askanios Kefalas took the corner. When Marcus Allbäck got free in front of the goal in the 76th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Aivars Tautvaiss was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Benny Bur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Seijas in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Blackblue United were awarded a corner. Sixto Seijas went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Sixto Seijas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sledgehammer KO's Benny Bur did a great save. 80 minutes into the game, Marcus Allbäck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Aivars Tautvaiss was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aivars Tautvaiss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Allbäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sledgehammer KO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Askanios Kefalas in the 87th minute. Askanios Kefalas made a great header on Sledgehammer KO's corner, it was just that Blackblue United's Aivars Tautvaiss managed to reach the ball for a save. Antonio Michael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aivars Tautvaiss having to interfere. When the match was over Sledgehammer KO could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Blackblue United throughout the match.
