After 14 minutes of play, FC Hans's Viorel Moldovan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giacomo Casanova was left in no man's land by his defense there! 19 minutes into the game, Montesacro FC's Paolo Rossi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Timmy Kjellkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Fabinho Tinoco hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Paolo Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Timmy Kjellkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paolo Rossi struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Timmy Kjellkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montesacro FC. After 43 played minutes Montesacro FC got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Del Gatto. The FC Hans players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Montesacro FC were winning 2-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viorel Moldovan made a kick off. In the 58th minute Viorel Moldovan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giacomo Casanova saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Timmy Kjellkvist managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Montesacro FC's Paolo Rossi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Giacomo Casanova made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Moldovan in the 66th minute of play.
