The supporters of RED BLUE STAR booed when Fluminense DF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ingemar Kilman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karol Pierz having to make a save. 15 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's goal looked a bit too open when Ingemar Kilman came free, but Karol Pierz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ionuț Grecu hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Carlisle Schultz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Răzvan Spineanu in the 23rd minute of play. Carlisle Schultz came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by RED BLUE STAR's 姚然军. But to his dismay, 姚然军 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 29 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's goal looked a bit too open when Ingemar Kilman came free, but Karol Pierz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Dumitru Chiriacescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Carlisle Schultz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 姚然军's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlisle Schultz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to Fluminense DF getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Alfredo de Alcântara hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Fluminense DF's goal looked a bit too open when Răzvan Spineanu came free, but Carlisle Schultz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Goiz in the 76th minute of play forced RED BLUE STAR's goalkeeper Karol Pierz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by RED BLUE STAR's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aslan Raci was slow to take the kick. During this time Fluminense DF's players had a chance to rest. Fluminense DF's Prudencio Goiz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Karol Pierz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 82 minutes into the match, Fluminense DF's goalkeeper Carlisle Schultz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Namık Kemal Korur. Dumitru Chiriacescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Carlisle Schultz made a huge save. Fluminense DF's attentive Luiz Trigo managed to snatch the ball when Bacary Roudier made a throw-in in the 85th minute of the game. After 91 played minutes Fluminense DF got a freekick which was hit by Aslan Raci. 姚然军 struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Carlisle Schultz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RED BLUE STAR. When the final whistle sounded RED BLUE STAR left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fluminense DF.
