The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clark Kent showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Dijoux in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giacomo Casanova prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Montesacro FC's Giacomo Casanova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Dijoux in the 39th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Montesacro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Dijoux came free, but Giacomo Casanova reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in Zorros del Desierto's zone, Anthony Del Gatto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clark Kent came out of the goal and Anthony Del Gatto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
