In the 18th match minute, RED BLUE STAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mürsel Oruz to maneuver through the defense. Paolo Rossi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Juliusz Julien came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Montesacro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juliusz Julien couldn't finish the play. Karol Pierz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Răzvan Spineanu got free with Giacomo Casanova in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Răzvan Spineanu took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Giacomo Casanova to make any attempt to save it. In the 40th minute Paolo Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karol Pierz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. RED BLUE STAR's Karol Pierz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Rossi in the 42nd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Montesacro FC's Paolo Rossi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karol Pierz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the RED BLUE STAR defense, Paolo Rossi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karol Pierz. The RED BLUE STAR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karol Pierz should have stopped the shot. The RED BLUE STAR players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Montesacro FC were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Loco Palermo made the kick off in the second half. Paolo Rossi scored 1-3 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karol Pierz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 58th minute, Paolo Rossi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind RED BLUE STAR's goalkeeper Karol Pierz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Karol Pierz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 62nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. Alkinoos Baloukos hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Paolo Rossi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montesacro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paolo Rossi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karol Pierz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Montesacro FC's Giacomo Casanova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dumitru Chiriacescu in the 70th minute of play. In the 75th minute Loco Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karol Pierz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giacomo Casanova showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 姚然军, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Paolo Rossi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Karol Pierz made a huge save. After 84 minutes RED BLUE STAR's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Juliusz Julien who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Anthony Del Gatto heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Karol Pierz was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Paolo Rossi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paolo Rossi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. In the 96th minute of the match Montesacro FC got a corner. RED BLUE STAR's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Juliusz Julien ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Montesacro FC's Juliusz Julien to fire away a dangerous shot which Karol Pierz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Montesacro FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
