The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. BANDOLEIROS osasco's Karl Pilgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Martini in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalkeeper Cristoforo Tammaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Cristoforo Tammaro got control of the ball when Billy Sandström tried to sneak it across the goal line. BANDOLEIROS osasco's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kleber Chalas in the 20th minute. BANDOLEIROS osasco's Benedito Valentim was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristoforo Tammaro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cristoforo Tammaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Billy Sandström's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. With a little luck, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Cristoforo Tammaro got control of the ball when Billy Sandström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristoforo Tammaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billy Sandström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fedele Panza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Karl Pilgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Billy Sandström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Cristoforo Tammaro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 34th minute Ernesto Martini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Pilgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl Pilgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Panza in the 36th minute of the match. Karl Pilgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Hibai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Ernesto Martini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Fedele Panza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl Pilgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Panza in the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute Ernesto Martini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Pilgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Billy Sandström to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Fedele Panza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Pilgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute Peter Paul Crouch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Tammaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Paul Crouch came free, but Cristoforo Tammaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Francesco Romino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 83 minutes of play, BANDOLEIROS osasco's Peter Paul Crouch made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Joel Hibai took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Karl Pilgren to make any attempt to save it. Many of Lunatics of Arianrhod's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Lunatics of Arianrhod may have spent more time on the ball, but BANDOLEIROS osasco were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
