Severo Montrelle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Almada, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Maximo Geofredo got a throw-in 23 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Marcos Tirso. In the 25th minute, Natalio Guter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enzo Rodriguez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 29th minute, Natalio Guter made a precise shot to the right of Enzo Rodriguez. Ernesto Guevara SyD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Ernesto Guevara SyD's Marcos Tirso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Severo Montrelle. That made the score 1-2 after 43 minutes of play. The supporters of Ernesto Guevara SyD booed when Super Chechona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johan Vásquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Natalio Guter to strike the kick off in the second half. Rogelio Tuste made a great header on Super Chechona FC's corner, it was just that Ernesto Guevara SyD's Enzo Rodriguez managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 84th minute Marcos Tirso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Montrelle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Guter in the 88th minute of play forced Ernesto Guevara SyD's goalkeeper Enzo Rodriguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Natalio Guter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enzo Rodriguez was relentless in the 91st minute of the game.
