Santo Marcos came out of the goal and Frasier Huber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santo Marcos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frasier Huber went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Santo Marcos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frasier Huber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frasier Huber in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santo Marcos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 16 minutes into the match, SalentoUnited's goalkeeper Igor Brandenberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcel Nascimento. SalentoUnited's Igor Brandenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garðar Jóhannsson in the 17th minute of play. 24 minutes in the game Boris Walpert did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Octavius Gräf. Igor Brandenberg made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Garðar Jóhannsson sent off a good shot on target. SalentoUnited's Igor Brandenberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save SalentoUnited from getting a goal against them. Gilbert Polkoski kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Markus Paul Hattermann was substituted for Garðar Jóhannsson. In the 36th minute, Gilbert Polkoski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, SalentoUnited's Igor Brandenberg got control of the ball when Markus Paul Hattermann tried to sneak it across the goal line. SalentoUnited's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Markus Paul Hattermann scored to the left of an out of position Igor Brandenberg, making the score, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Marcel Nascimento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Igor Brandenberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavius Gräf in the 60th minute of play forced TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's goalkeeper Santo Marcos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Brandenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 70th minute of the game Ruan Mozer made a throw-in which Markus Paul Hattermann played forward. When Octavius Gräf came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the SalentoUnited fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavius Gräf couldn't finish the play. With 94 minutes on the clock, Ergincan Suerkan commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. TRICOSHOW F.CLUB had played much better football throughout.
