In the 8th minute, Timo!'s Franco Benvenuto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Timo!'s Elpidio Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukáš Sychra in the 11th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Golden Tigers's goalkeeper Beto Santirso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Franco Benvenuto. Beto Santirso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Benvenuto in the 22nd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Timo!'s Franco Benvenuto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Beto Santirso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elpidio Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukáš Sychra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beto Santirso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franco Benvenuto's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Timo!'s Elpidio Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Porfiro in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Golden Tigers booed when Timo! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Bastia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Franco Benvenuto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Timo!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Franco Benvenuto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Timo!'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Franco Benvenuto in the 92nd minute. Feijo Freire could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Elpidio Amor made a huge save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Golden Tigers players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Timo!.
