Caatiba MZC's Jorge Henrique was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Andrés Casado in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 14 minutes into the match, Caatiba MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Fedele Moretti came free, but Ergo Muro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Aragorn's goalkeeper Andrés Casado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niceto Ihazintu. In the 19th minute Fedele Moretti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ergo Muro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caatiba MZC's attentive Jorge Henrique managed to snatch the ball when Wade Wilson made a throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Elian Müller sped through Caatiba MZC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ergo Muro. Ergo Muro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedele Moretti in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Altuğ Yakup in the 32nd minute of play forced Caatiba MZC's goalkeeper Ergo Muro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Caatiba MZC's Jorge Henrique got a free kick in the 35th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Caatiba MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Altuğ Yakup came free, but Ergo Muro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 minutes Caatiba MZC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elian Müller who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Fedele Moretti got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-3. 39 minutes into the match. After the first half Aragorn were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niceto Ihazintu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tony Stark hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute of the match Jorge Henrique shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andrés Casado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hector Garofalis hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Caatiba MZC's goalkeeper Ergo Muro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Caatiba MZC's Ergo Muro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Caatiba MZC from getting a goal against them. Aragorn's Topo Lino was substituted for Altuğ Yakup. Caatiba MZC's Delfim Bertassi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Wade Wilson, made in the 69th minute of the game. Niceto Ihazintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Miguel Lizer's late challenge caught a Aragorn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Lizer helped the player get up and apologised. The corner led Aragorn's Fedele Moretti to fire away a dangerous shot which Ergo Muro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Aragorn's Wade Wilson got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Andrés Casado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Henrique, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ergo Muro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Topo Lino, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Aragorn's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
