But to his dismay, Ronaldo Joinvilense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some careless play in the Wolves FC - DMZ defense, Franck Parfelt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guillen Aguillar. The Wolves FC - DMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guillen Aguillar should have stopped the shot. Marco Löhr hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Ronaldo Joinvilense might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wladimir Vinthen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiago Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wladimir Vinthen having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Wolves FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Franck Parfelt came free, but Guillen Aguillar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40thth minute of the game Ronaldo Joinvilense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Potters's Wladimir Vinthen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Wolves FC - DMZ's Abram Cadabra got a free kick in the 41st minute. Wolves FC - DMZ's Guillen Aguillar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Wolves FC - DMZ from getting a goal against them. Wolves FC - DMZ were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after The Potters's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abram Cadabra took the corner. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Langoni in the 79th minute of play forced Wolves FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Guillen Aguillar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 played minutes The Potters got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Ostersen. Guillen Aguillar came out of the goal and Franck Parfelt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute Bertel Methling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillen Aguillar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Wolves FC - DMZ booed when The Potters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Ostersen didn't get a good kick on the ball.
