The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Song Yu Chen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aybars Cihannur having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, Porteño Prowess FC's Enrico Barreneche nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aybars Cihannur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 19th minute Marcinho Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beniamin Brodzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Chucho in the 24th minute of play forced Porteño Prowess FC's goalkeeper Beniamin Brodzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Porteño Prowess FC's Beniamin Brodzki got control of the ball when Alfredinho Veloso tried to sneak it across the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Enrico Barreneche notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of RÖK's Aybars Cihannur. Aybars Cihannur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Porteño Prowess FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Porteño Prowess FC's Dobromir Przybylo was substituted for Alberto Ocomardia. Beniamin Brodzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Errapel in the 52nd minute of play. Alfredinho Veloso made a great header on RÖK's corner, it was just that Porteño Prowess FC's Beniamin Brodzki managed to reach the ball for a save. Porteño Prowess FC played a much better game than RÖK and deserved their victory. The RÖK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
