Atilio Garcia's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dražen Ladić firmly grabbed it by the left post. Atilio Garcia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Dražen Ladić when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Escobar Maya scored 1-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dražen Ladić, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Patric Sandwall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Gana in the 28th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Gabriel Anuncibay threw the ball into play from the sideline. AC Morena's Eustaquio Refugio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Dražen Ladić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svante Lekberg in the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilio Garcia in the 37th minute of play forced AC Morena's goalkeeper Dražen Ladić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Svante Lekberg kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquiles Gana in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patric Sandwall prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Audaz FC's Hüsnü Kapar was substituted for Escobar Maya. Audaz FC's Serginho Chulapa was substituted for Daniels Cortez. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aquiles Gana to strike the kick off in the second half. If Aquiles Gana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Patric Sandwall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aquiles Gana in the 55th minute. Ahmet Korkut Hacıbeyoğlu hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Audaz FC's Ahmet Korkut Hacıbeyoğlu got a free kick in the 74th minute. AC Morena's Dražen Ladić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilio Garcia in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of AC Morena booed when Audaz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svante Lekberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Korkut Hacıbeyoğlu hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, AC Morena's Patric Sandwall threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jerzy Piwowarski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 89th minute Aquiles Gana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patric Sandwall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 played minutes AC Morena got a freekick which was hit by Ciccio Di Loreto. Yazid Guinaudeau was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, AC Morena's Yazid Guinaudeau got a free kick in the 93rd minute. AC Morena's Bálint Szabó was substituted for Cristoforo Labate. In the 94th match minute, AC Morena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yazid Guinaudeau to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute Atilio Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dražen Ladić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Aquiles Gana managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Morena's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquiles Gana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patric Sandwall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
