They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gerardo Claus made a kick off. Piotr Majerowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garth Basham in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Garth Basham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Majerowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Edmund Czeszejko fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rozbryzgane Rogale FC's protests and gave Edmund Czeszejko a yellow card for diving instead. Rozbryzgane Rogale FC's Piotr Majerowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Claus in the 87th minute of play.
