Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) Caetano Messias started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a little luck, Velez Sarsfield's Erwin Huygens got control of the ball when Caetano Messias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Caetano Messias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Erwin Huygens made a huge save. Laureano Cresenciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erwin Huygens having to interfere. 7 minutes in the game Pascual Colon did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Laureano Cresenciano. Caetano Messias had several of the Velez Sarsfield's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 9 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Erwin Huygens as he didn't even see the shot coming. A sloppy throw-in by Pascual Colon in the 14th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Velez Sarsfield's Marcos Pacifico. Ronan Mistral kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. FC BaLiSt's Chi Tzalov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Cordario in the 23rd minute of play. The corner led Velez Sarsfield's Javier Pinola to fire away a dangerous shot which Chi Tzalov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Chi Tzalov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ando Averin's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Chi Tzalov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Cordario in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Velez Sarsfield's Augusto Cordario got a free kick in the 31st minute. Erwin Huygens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Messias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aron Olteanus short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Erwin Huygens to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 38th minute Augusto Cordario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chi Tzalov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC BaLiSt's Chi Tzalov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Cordario in the 40th minute of play. Chi Tzalov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Cordario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Augusto Cordario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC BaLiSt's Chi Tzalov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Cordario in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Augusto Cordario made the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Costel Albescu in the 53rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Velez Sarsfield's Marcos Pacifico. Velez Sarsfield's attentive Marcos Pacifico managed to snatch the ball when Costel Albescu made a throw-in in the 55th minute of the game. If Olimpiu Mercescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When FC BaLiSt's Laureano Cresenciano in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Velez Sarsfield's goalie prevented a goal. In the 60th minute Caetano Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Huygens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erwin Huygens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Olteanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. FC BaLiSt made a substitution. Yang Wei replaced Aron Olteanu. Yang Wei made in the 73rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Yang Wei. 74 minutes into the match, Grigore Zberea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erwin Huygens. Velez Sarsfield's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Grigore Zberea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After a rather tough play, Velez Sarsfield's Filomeno Montrell got a free kick in the 79th minute. Velez Sarsfield made a substitution. Ago Tramp replaced Filomeno Montrell. In the 80th minute, Filomeno Montrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Augusto Cordario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erwin Huygens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Chi Tzalov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Cordario in the 91st minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Augusto Cordario notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of FC BaLiSt's Chi Tzalov. Chi Tzalov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
