Maikel Jol made in the 8th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eriberto Truylos. Maikel Jol made in the 10th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Falconara Albanese's Wawrzyniec Knopek. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Dráuzio Pontes put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gabriel Ikatz. Falconara Albanese's Arne Grabner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Falconara Albanese from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xu Wei Kun in the 17th minute of play forced Falconara Albanese's goalkeeper Arne Grabner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Xu Wei Kun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Arne Grabner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Independiente's Maikel Jol got a free kick in the 19th minute. Arne Grabner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eriberto Truylos in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute, Dráuzio Pontes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Falconara Albanese fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The corner led Independiente's Maikel Jol to fire away a dangerous shot which Arne Grabner despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Per-Olof Kaxe kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eriberto Truylos got free with Arne Grabner in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 39th play minutes Eriberto Truylos shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Arne Grabner and just under the crossbar into goal. Eriberto Truylos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Arne Grabner when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Anier Omero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Ikatz having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dráuzio Pontes to make the kick off. Åke Utter made in the 51st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Emanuel Benet however managed to control. Arne Grabner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xu Wei Kun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Falconara Albanese's Dráuzio Pontes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gabriel Ikatz. Gabriel Ikatz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Falconara Albanese's Honorio Firman was substituted for Anier Omero. Falconara Albanese's Kaarlo Menem was substituted for Esteve Garin. Falconara Albanese made a substitution. Martin Goren replaced Dráuzio Pontes. Gabriel Ikatz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaarlo Menem in the 71st minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Martin Goren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Gabriel Ikatz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kaarlo Menem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Gabriel Ikatz made a huge save. Per-Olof Kaxe kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Eriberto Truylos might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arne Grabner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eriberto Truylos ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st minute Eriberto Truylos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Grabner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaarlo Menem in the 87th minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Gabriel Ikatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Wawrzyniec Knopek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
