An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Suy in the 14th minute of play forced C.A.JORGOVAN's goalkeeper Eustacio Beliran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eriberto Truylos in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eustacio Beliran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 17 minutes into the match, C.A.JORGOVAN's goal looked a bit too open when Xu Wei Kun came free, but Eustacio Beliran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.A.JORGOVAN's Eustacio Beliran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xu Wei Kun in the 17th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eriberto Truylos to make the kick off. Eustacio Beliran was left in no man's land by his defense there! Independiente's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
