Nadodrze Wrocław's Lucjan Zbytniewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Truylos in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Independiente's goalkeeper Gabriel Ikatz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Borys Biegun. After a defensive mix-up in Nadodrze Wrocław's zone, Maikel Jol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucjan Zbytniewski came out of the goal and Maikel Jol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Independiente's Gabriel Ikatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugon Podowski in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugon Podowski in the 94th minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Gabriel Ikatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nadodrze Wrocław were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Independiente to leave the ground with a draw.
