Sepp Mainville showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Bottone in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute of the match A.S. Udinese got a corner. Zelg FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristiano Paolucci ran over to the corner to take the kick. A.S. Udinese's Bruno Maranzano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sepp Mainville in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sepp Mainville took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberigo Di Franco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonas Herz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alvaro Rotili having to make a save. Sepp Mainville showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessio Zoccali, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A.S. Udinese's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristiano Paolucci in the 28th minute. Cristiano Paolucci made a great header on A.S. Udinese's corner, it was just that Zelg FC's Sepp Mainville managed to reach the ball for a save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonas Herz was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Alessio Zoccali's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sepp Mainville was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. A.S. Udinese were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Zelg FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Augusto Clemente took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Augusto Clemente got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sepp Mainville quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alvaro Rotili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Herz, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Alessio Zoccali put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Sepp Mainville. A.S. Udinese's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
