When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Sarmiento de Resistencia's Alex Herrero was substituted for Man Tas. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iustinian Comăneci made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Grady Beckman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Herrero did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Radu Tarchilă 60 minutes into the match.
