After the first half Robíño Football Club were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viorel Iacobescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s zone, Fang Ting Yan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niculae Rădvan came out of the goal and Fang Ting Yan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niculae Rădvan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Arab in the 62nd minute of play. Niculae Rădvan made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Karol Czeszejko sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Arab got free with Niculae Rădvan in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robíño Football Club's Panait Mazăre was substituted for Villiam Hedbom. FC PIETROSUL -MM- made a substitution. Cristi Ciprian replaced Viorel Iacobescu. After 69 played minutes Robíño Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Roberto-Carlos Junior. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurel Teodoroiu in the 70th minute of play forced Robíño Football Club's goalkeeper Svante Julin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
