In the 21st minute of the match Bleber FC got a corner. Attard Gunners's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dewa Budjana ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bleber FC's Soloman Khomane managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Glenn Bailey in the 31 minute of the game. In the 32nd minute, Ronaldo Fenomeno reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jay Jowsey. The goal made the score 1-0. Sergen Sergen took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Charis Panaretos. Charis Panaretos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 41st minute Sergen Sergen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charis Panaretos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jay Jowsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the game, Adrian Grech was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Attard Gunners's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bleber FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Attard Gunners's Adrian Grech got a free kick in the 47th minute. When Ronaldo Fenomeno came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Bleber FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldo Fenomeno couldn't finish the play.
Jay Jowsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Soloman Khomane in the 52nd minute of the match. 52 minutes into the match, Soloman Khomane had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jay Jowsey. Attard Gunners's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Soloman Khomane was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Jay Jowsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Fenomeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Ronaldo Fenomeno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bleber FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldo Fenomeno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jay Jowsey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Jean Carl Cassar Torreggiani kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Charis Panaretos. That made the score 2-2 in the 61 minute of play. Nicodemo Saravia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 71stth minute of the game Nicodemo Saravia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Attard Gunners's Jay Jowsey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicodemo Saravia in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jay Jowsey saved Attard Gunners from getting behind. Bleber FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Neville Ciscaldi scored to the left of an out of position Charis Panaretos, making the score, 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Said in the 82nd minute of play forced Bleber FC's goalkeeper Charis Panaretos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Attard Gunners made a substitution. Adrian Savona replaced Alan Said. Nicodemo Saravia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Bleber FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Attard Gunners's performance. The match ended with a win for Attard Gunners.
