Edmílson Prata was slow to take the kick. During this time Kjønstad BF's players had a chance to rest. Kjønstad BF's Edmílson Prata was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Stipe Pletikosa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Kjønstad BF's Wang Fei Xing got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 13 minutes into the game, Kjønstad BF's Wang Fei Xing nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stipe Pletikosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Erik Grøneng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Nirvana in the 20th minute of the match. Erik Grøneng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Nirvana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fortuna 86 Szczecin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wang Fei Xing was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wang Fei Xing to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the game Emil Gierasik made a throw-in which Mariusz Gruchacz played forward. Stipe Pletikosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raymond Engevik in the 59th minute of the match. Erik Grøneng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariusz Gruchacz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Mariusz Gruchacz managed to work through Kjønstad BF's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. After 66 minutes, Gustaw Niewiadomski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fortuna 86 Szczecin and the Kjønstad BF players grew even worse after the yellow card.
