Orvar Kihlman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aquiles Erruki having to make a save. With a little luck, INTER de Córdoba's Aquiles Erruki got control of the ball when Orvar Kihlman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Quincy Qvalfeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Aquiles Erruki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, BV Borussia Hammarby's Orvar Kihlman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aquiles Erruki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nicklas Forsell hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. INTER de Córdoba's Aquiles Erruki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save INTER de Córdoba from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by INTER de Córdoba's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Quincy Qvalfeldt was slow to take the kick. During this time BV Borussia Hammarby's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of BV Borussia Hammarby booed when INTER de Córdoba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Roderigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Orvar Kihlman took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Aquiles Erruki to make any attempt to save it. 39 minutes into the game, Orvar Kihlman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aquiles Erruki. Orvar Kihlman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. 43 minutes into the match, Orvar Kihlman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aquiles Erruki, 5-0. A throw-in in the 47th minute of the game was made by Guillermo Roderigo with Uriel Hever as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lisandro Guter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of BV Borussia Hammarby booed when INTER de Córdoba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Acevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind INTER de Córdoba's goalkeeper Aquiles Erruki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 54 played minutes BV Borussia Hammarby got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Brolin. Aquiles Erruki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orvar Kihlman went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orvar Kihlman in the 65th minute of play forced INTER de Córdoba's goalkeeper Aquiles Erruki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 minutes of play, BV Borussia Hammarby's Rune Fristedt made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aquiles Erruki was left in no man's land by his defense there! 73 minutes into the match, INTER de Córdoba's goal looked a bit too open when Orvar Kihlman came free, but Aquiles Erruki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquiles Erruki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orvar Kihlman went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. 80 minutes into the game, Honorio Florin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Aquiles Erruki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 84 played minutes INTER de Córdoba got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Roderigo. 89 minutes in the game Guillermo Roderigo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Uriel Hever. Honorio Florin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laureano Acevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. BV Borussia Hammarby had played much better football throughout.
