All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

51 minutes into the match, Grosso United's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Guerra came free, but Jonas Bladi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonín Orlík in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haroldas Strazdas saved Spartans FC from getting behind. Grosso United's Reynaldo Pietro was substituted for Ulises Gartzen. Hugo Guerra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonas Bladi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play.
