Spectators: 7710 (Terracing: 5784, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sulo Montaña started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in LOI's zone, Dionisio Panpili stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. George Buturugã came out of the goal and Dionisio Panpili tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. George Buturugã showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Panpili in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Semail Ilıca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. George Buturugã took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Cilio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Carlos Alvarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sulo Montaña, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Yin Yang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but George Buturugã made a huge save. In the 21st minute Özgür Özbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Carlos Alvarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind LOI's goalkeeper George Buturugã, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Juan Carlos Alvarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özgür Özbay in the 26th minute of the match. The supporters of Marlin FC booed when LOI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cabbar Dinçay didn't get a good kick on the ball. George Buturugã came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Marlin FC's Yin Yang. But to his dismay, Yin Yang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yin Yang got free with George Buturugã in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. LOI's George Buturugã proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save LOI from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Panpili in the 35th minute of play forced LOI's goalkeeper George Buturugã to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. George Buturugã made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yin Yang in the 38th minute. Juan Carlos Alvarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özgür Özbay in the 42nd minute of play. The LOI fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when LOI's Sulo Montaña looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

Özgür Özbay struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Juan Carlos Alvarez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LOI. Yin Yang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. George Buturugã tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, one of LOI:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for LOI. 74 minutes into the game, Melchor Oidor threw the ball into play from the sideline. LOI's Cabbar Dinçay quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. LOI's Cabbar Dinçay quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fernando Ciano, made in the 76th minute of the game. After 77 played minutes Marlin FC got a freekick which was hit by Boleslaw Gecionis. LOI's Habib Durukan got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, LOI's Fetih Avcu got a free kick in the 79th minute. George Buturugã came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Marlin FC's Teobaldo Cilio. But to his dismay, Teobaldo Cilio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Juan Carlos Alvarez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Özgür Özbay in the 87th minute. LOI's Kerimhan Cevher was substituted for Sulo Montaña. In the 89th minute LOI were awarded a corner. Habib Durukan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to LOI's Habib Durukan getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Juan Carlos Alvarez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Özgür Özbay in the 95th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
