Velimir Popchev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klement Rzeszutko in the 16th minute of the match. VN Keleler's Velimir Popchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klement Rzeszutko in the 16th minute of play. A hard shot 19 in the game by Seyit Bozbey from a close distance when the talented Erez Manco managed to make a qualified save. KS Ruch Chorzów's players were relieved. 27 minutes into the match, KS Ruch Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Hakkı Kenan Pınar came free, but Erez Manco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, VN Keleler's Erez Manco threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stuart Byman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 38 minutes into the match, VN Keleler's Doychin Konsulov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erez Manco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, KS Ruch Chorzów's goalkeeper Erez Manco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hakkı Kenan Pınar. In the 44th minute Hakkı Kenan Pınar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erez Manco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Velimir Popchev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Budovnits in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ponc Calderona to make the kick off. Klement Rzeszutko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Velimir Popchev made a huge save. In the 53rd minute, Klement Rzeszutko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the match, VN Keleler's goal looked a bit too open when Donny Verweijen came free, but Velimir Popchev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stuart Byman in the 58th minute of play forced KS Ruch Chorzów's goalkeeper Erez Manco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erez Manco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stuart Byman in the 62nd minute of play. When VN Keleler's Stuart Byman in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KS Ruch Chorzów's goalie prevented a goal. Velimir Popchev came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by KS Ruch Chorzów's Ponc Calderona. But to his dismay, Ponc Calderona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. VN Keleler's Harris Zoolingen was substituted for Doychin Konsulov. André Luiz Xavier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Velimir Popchev made a huge save. After some careless play in the KS Ruch Chorzów defense, Hakkı Kenan Pınar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erez Manco. The KS Ruch Chorzów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erez Manco should have stopped the shot. Velimir Popchev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Luiz Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by KS Ruch Chorzów's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Andreas Lund was slow to take the kick. During this time VN Keleler's players had a chance to rest. Velimir Popchev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donny Verweijen, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
