Jósef Wandzik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Pollard in the 18th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Cafu dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hudson Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Oskar Rocheleau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Doriva Sousa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hudson Gaúcho. The goal made the score 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, Ghost Hunters's goal looked a bit too open when Wellington Pires came free, but Jósef Wandzik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ingvar Mogren charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ingvar Mogren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, Ghost Hunters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Mogren to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute of the match Sócrates Silva sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jósef Wandzik skillfully saved the ball. In the 31st minute, Doriva Sousa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ghost Hunters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After having played for 34 minutes, Doriva Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ghost Hunters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doriva Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes in the game Cafu dos Santos did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Wellington Pires. Austra 04 VFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Doriva Sousa scored to the left of an out of position Hudson Gaúcho, making the score, 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sócrates Silva to make the kick off. Hudson Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doriva Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 52 minutes into the game, Doriva Sousa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Austra 04 VFC's goalkeeper Hudson Gaúcho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Austra 04 VFC's Hudson Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Oskar Rocheleau in the 78th minute of play. A collision led to Ghost Hunters getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jan-Åke Melander hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Jan-Åke Melander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hudson Gaúcho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Austra 04 VFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ghost Hunters.
