The audience thought a goal was coming when Ismael Blanco got free with Elpidio Vitin in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tilemachos Fragopoulos made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Vélez Juniors's Benicio Rivas. Dariusz Bielejewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Naike's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Cristian Naike put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dariusz Bielejewski. With an all-out effort, FC Bemowo's Elpidio Vitin threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vito Seco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
