The audience thought a goal was coming when Bob Leerbels got free with Armindo Salgado in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute, Bacardi FC's Bob Leerbels ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Armindo Salgado. Armindo Salgado yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by VB-Team's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bob Leerbels was slow to take the kick. During this time Bacardi FC's players had a chance to rest. 24 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoud Van Gestel came free, but Armindo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bacardi FC's Roni Coryn was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 25th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Armindo Salgado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bob Leerbels's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. A collision led to VB-Team getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Enzo Pellecchia hit a great ball. Armindo Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoud Van Gestel, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, Joaquim de Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leo Dauwen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shao Kun Yuan in the 39th minute of the match. Gervásio Severiano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leo Dauwen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Leo Dauwen made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Luís Caeiro sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes into the game, Joaquim de Barros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Bacardi FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Luís Caeiro scored to the left of an out of position Leo Dauwen, making the score, 2-5. Thanks to some nice moves Gervásio Severiano could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Leo Dauwen however easily saved by the left post. Leo Dauwen was a little too slow when Luís Caeiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 2-6. VB-Team played a much better game than Bacardi FC and deserved their victory. The Bacardi FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
