The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Elpidio Vitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zygmunt Lichniak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The nice shot from Guido Luzaide in the 9thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Fabian Burowski had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Vélez Juniors were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guido Luzaide took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Benicio Rivas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fabian Burowski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nicolas Roland's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fabian Burowski firmly grabbed it by the left post. Fabian Burowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Rivas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Naikes short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Fabian Burowski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Naike in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabian Burowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elpidio Vitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zygmunt Lichniak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elpidio Vitin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugeniusz Iwaszko in the 43rd minute of the match. Zygmunt Lichniak's late challenge caught a Vélez Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zygmunt Lichniak helped the player get up and apologised. Zygmunt Lichniak hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Nicolas Roland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vélez Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Roland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Burowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristian Naike was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to RW AHLEN-KNURÓW getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Arthur Devos hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute, Klement Siedlecki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the match, RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Luzaide came free, but Fabian Burowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zygmunt Lichniak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Elpidio Vitin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Fabian Burowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Luzaide in the 60th minute of play. Vélez Juniors's Elpidio Vitin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Vélez Juniors from getting a goal against them. Vélez Juniors's Godofredo Ado was substituted for Alberto Joey. In the 65th minute RW AHLEN-KNURÓW were awarded a corner. Roman Miskiewicz went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Stasio Klawke managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Severo Maule scored 2-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabian Burowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to RW AHLEN-KNURÓW getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Hugon Kostka hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Luzaide in the 75th minute of play forced RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's goalkeeper Fabian Burowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Fabian Burowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Luzaide in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of RW AHLEN-KNURÓW booed when Vélez Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Rivas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the RW AHLEN-KNURÓW defense, Benicio Rivas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabian Burowski. The RW AHLEN-KNURÓW fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabian Burowski should have stopped the shot. Fabian Burowski came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Vélez Juniors's Benicio Rivas. But to his dismay, Benicio Rivas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 88 played minutes RW AHLEN-KNURÓW got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Popowicz. After some careless play in the RW AHLEN-KNURÓW defense, Nicolas Roland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabian Burowski. The RW AHLEN-KNURÓW fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabian Burowski should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vélez Juniors had won after a very even match.
