An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Roland in the 33rd minute of play forced SS SuperSonics's goalkeeper Hugon Lenertej to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Vélez Juniors had played much better football throughout.
