The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bogumil Misiorowski charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bogumil Misiorowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th match minute, SS SuperSonics was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogumil Misiorowski to maneuver through the defense. Baltazar Clavijo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Hugon Lenertej made a huge save. The supporters of Borussia Dortmund booed when SS SuperSonics was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogumil Misiorowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SS SuperSonics's goalkeeper Hugon Lenertej, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, SS SuperSonics's goal looked a bit too open when Baltazar Clavijo came free, but Hugon Lenertej reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Hugon Lenertej successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hugon Lenertej made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Clavijo in the 27th minute of play. Borussia Dortmund's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yakup Sargut in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute of the match Borussia Dortmund got a corner. SS SuperSonics's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Levander hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, SS SuperSonics's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Orlanda came free, but Hugon Lenertej reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SS SuperSonics's Hugon Lenertej played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Levander in the 39th minute of play. Fernando Grover could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Hugon Lenertej made a huge save. SS SuperSonics's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Baltazar Clavijo scored to the left of an out of position Hugon Lenertej, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltazar Clavijo in the 47th minute of play forced SS SuperSonics's goalkeeper Hugon Lenertej to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Fernando Grover made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the SS SuperSonics defense, Baltazar Clavijo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugon Lenertej. The SS SuperSonics fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugon Lenertej should have stopped the shot. Hugon Lenertej showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Orlanda in the 54th minute of the match. A collision led to SS SuperSonics getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Boguslaw Motowski hit a great ball. In the 63rdth minute of the game Baltazar Clavijo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SS SuperSonics's Hugon Lenertej was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alexander Rosén hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. When Tomas Levander came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Borussia Dortmund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Levander couldn't finish the play. 69 minutes into the match, SS SuperSonics's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Grover came free, but Hugon Lenertej reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Borussia Dortmund's Yao Zhan Sang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Borussia Dortmund from getting a goal against them. Hugon Lenertej showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emesto Llames in the 93rd minute of the match. After 94 minutes of play, Borussia Dortmund's Emesto Llames made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugon Lenertej was left in no man's land by his defense there!
