Spectators: 7764 (Terracing: 5824, Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 154) GFG VOEL's Endrik Verde started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hugon Zjawin took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elpidio Vitin. Elpidio Vitin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Nicolas Roland who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Jes Linnig when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jørn Egander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the match, GFG VOEL's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Roland came free, but Jes Linnig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 played minutes GFG VOEL got a freekick which was hit by Jørn Egander. Jes Linnig was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Nicolas Roland capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nicolas Roland really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Elpidio Vitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jørn Egander, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Cristian Naike fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jes Linnig having to interfere. Elpidio Vitin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helge Pihlberg in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Helge Pihlberg in the 24th minute of play forced Vélez Juniors's goalkeeper Elpidio Vitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jes Linnig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Roland in the 27th minute of play. After some careless play in the Vélez Juniors defense, Helge Pihlberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elpidio Vitin. The Vélez Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elpidio Vitin should have stopped the shot. Elpidio Vitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jørn Egander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 minutes, Endrik Verde made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Vélez Juniors's Elpidio Vitin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Naike could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Jes Linnig made a huge save. After 43 minutes GFG VOEL's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guido Luzaide who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Vélez Juniors's corner Santos Fonda fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jes Linnig quite easily take care of the ball. After 44 played minutes Vélez Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Napier. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Nicolas Roland made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Roland in the 51st minute of play forced GFG VOEL's goalkeeper Jes Linnig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, GFG VOEL's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Roland came free, but Jes Linnig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GFG VOEL's Jes Linnig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Roland in the 55th minute of play. Vélez Juniors's Elpidio Vitin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Vélez Juniors from getting a goal against them. 58 minutes into the match, GFG VOEL's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Luzaide came free, but Jes Linnig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute Helge Pihlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Vitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, GFG VOEL's Elpidio Vitin threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hugon Zjawin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Nicolas Roland came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Vélez Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Roland couldn't finish the play. Vélez Juniors made a substitution. Bernardo Sayvion replaced Donato Efraim. After 77 played minutes GFG VOEL got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Suarez. Jes Linnig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Naike, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute of the match, Endrik Verde got a very nice opportunity to score, but Elpidio Vitin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jes Linnig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Sayvion in the 89th minute of the match. Costică Ştefănescu kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Jes Linnig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Naike, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 94 minutes into the match, Cristian Naike had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jes Linnig. GFG VOEL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Naike was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The Vélez Juniors supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching GFG VOEL's performance. The match ended with a win for GFG VOEL.
