Bob Leerbels scored 0-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dariusz Bielejewski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bacardi FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Damazy Tepper was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Bemowo's players had a chance to rest. Dariusz Bielejewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Leerbels in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Bacardi FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
