Ronaldo de Moraes made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Niklas Kjellberg sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dudu Magalhães in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens-Åke Källberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Torgny Landin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronaldo de Moraes having to make a save. Torgny Landin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Ronaldo de Moraes made a huge save. Ronaldo de Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Torgny Landin's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 35 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Gustavo Vergílio came free, but Jens-Åke Källberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vista Alegre FC were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Boca Juniors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Igor Souza took the corner. Robustiano Clementi ran back to his position shaking his head. Jordy Hoes's late challenge caught a Boca Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jordy Hoes helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vista Alegre FC's Jordy Hoes got a free kick in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Dudu Magalhães came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jens-Åke Källberg could save by the left post. Jordy Hoes made in the 57th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Boca Juniors's Münir Salih. Ronaldo de Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Torgny Landin's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Torgny Landin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Torgny Landin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronaldo de Moraes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 64 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Münir Salih. Ronaldo de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torgny Landin in the 75th minute of the match. Vista Alegre FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
