Shi Ming started the match with the kick off. Ronaldo de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shi Ming in the 3rd minute of play. With a little luck, Terremoto FC's Kenneth Libesoons got control of the ball when Robustiano Clementi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Shi Ming sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luiz Gustavo Vergílio hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Terremoto FC's Kenneth Libesoons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Clementi in the 25th minute of play. Ronaldo de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shi Ming in the 30th minute of play. When Robustiano Clementi came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Vista Alegre FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robustiano Clementi couldn't finish the play. Shi Ming blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronaldo de Moraes having to make a save. 35 minutes into the match, Vista Alegre FC's goal looked a bit too open when Shi Ming came free, but Ronaldo de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldo de Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shi Ming, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldo de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shi Ming, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Jonas Lore's late challenge caught a Vista Alegre FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Lore helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Vista Alegre FC booed when Terremoto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Lore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronaldo de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shi Ming in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robustiano Clementi to strike the kick off in the second half. Vista Alegre FC's Ronaldo de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Ming in the 51st minute of play. If Robustiano Clementi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robustiano Clementi in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kenneth Libesoons prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shi Ming got free with Ronaldo de Moraes in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ronaldo de Moraes was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Shi Ming capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Shi Ming really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Vista Alegre FC made a substitution. Lex Nelis replaced Igor Souza. Vista Alegre FC's Norberto de Azevedo was substituted for Dudu Magalhães. Terremoto FC made a substitution. Jeremias Macedo replaced Shi Ming. Kenneth Libesoons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Gustavo Vergílio in the 72nd minute of the match. Ronaldo de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremias Macedo in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronaldo de Moraes saved Vista Alegre FC from getting behind. Jeremias Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldo de Moraes having to interfere. Kenneth Libesoons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto de Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The Terremoto FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Terremoto FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
