André Nordmark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Nesor in the 16th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Hermengildo Nesor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Nordmark was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 21st minute, Hermengildo Nesor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Blueskatterna's André Nordmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Nesor in the 23rd minute of play. Winthont FC were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after FC Blueskatterna's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sander Schaars took the corner. Sander Schaars made a great header on Winthont FC's corner, it was just that FC Blueskatterna's André Nordmark managed to reach the ball for a save. Nils Falkrans hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. André Nordmark acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 30th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sander Schaars. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Fagrell in the 32nd minute of play forced Winthont FC's goalkeeper Dennis Beerthuis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Winthont FC's attentive Igor Fujara managed to snatch the ball when Erik Majman made a throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game. Hermengildo Nesor might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Nordmark. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermengildo Nesor ran back to his position shaking his head. But to his dismay, Hermengildo Nesor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Marc van Nistelrooij made the kick off in the second half. Winthont FC's attentive Fred Zandberg managed to snatch the ball when Erik Majman made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Björkman in the 53rd minute of play forced Winthont FC's goalkeeper Dennis Beerthuis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Winthont FC's Fred Zandberg got a free kick in the 55th minute. André Nordmark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascal Zegeling in the 58th minute of the match. In the 66th match minute, FC Blueskatterna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Björkman to maneuver through the defense. FC Blueskatterna's André Nordmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Gorbea in the 67th minute of play. In the 78th minute of the game Erik Majman made a throw-in which Erik Majman played forward. Sixto Gorbea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sixto Gorbea in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Nordmark prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 84 played minutes FC Blueskatterna got a freekick which was hit by Peter Björkman. The throw-in from Erik Majman in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Winthont FC's Fred Zandberg. In the 92nd minute, Kevin Fagrell reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dennis Beerthuis. The goal made the score 1-1. Despite being the better team, FC Blueskatterna failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
