The crowd rose to their feet as Maicon Pontes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Markus Nyman. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Valter Ahlerot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Meelis Vananurm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Brothers of Mercy's Håkan Lindgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Meelis Vananurm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 21st match minute, Brothers of Mercy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valter Ahlerot to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the game, Marcelo Abreu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Markus Nyman. Marcelo Abreu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 26 minutes into the game, Patrik Skarkman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Meelis Vananurm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 28 minutes into the match, Brothers of Mercy's goalkeeper Markus Nyman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erubiel Justin. Brothers of Mercy's Markus Nyman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Abreu in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Håkan Lindgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brothers of Mercy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 37 minutes into the match, Brothers of Mercy's goalkeeper Markus Nyman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erubiel Justin. Håkan Lindgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Meelis Vananurm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Håkan Lindgren made a kick off. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 狄亦渊 was slow to take the kick. During this time Brothers of Mercy's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Brothers of Mercy's Gabriel Saliba getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Meelis Vananurm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Håkan Lindgren in the 55th minute. 55 minutes into the game, Håkan Lindgren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Meelis Vananurm. Håkan Lindgren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. In the 59th minute Lindi Mena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Nyman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Markus Nyman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maicon Pontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wasyl Zgonina kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. With a little luck, ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's Meelis Vananurm got control of the ball when Håkan Lindgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Meelis Vananurm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Lindgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Alex Axelsson hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Markus Nyman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maicon Pontes in the 90th minute of play. Slawomir Tyskie charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Slawomir Tyskie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 95 minutes into the game, ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's Lindi Mena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Markus Nyman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
