To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peter Parker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ateş Ülküsel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ateş Ülküsel hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After having played for 43 minutes, A.J. Beardsley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Project Nemesis's supporters crossed their fingers, but A.J. Beardsley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luciano Acosta made a kick off. Radomir Pryputnicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Acosta in the 56th minute of play. Tao Ke Yin might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peter Parker. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tao Ke Yin ran back to his position shaking his head. 58 minutes into the match, Project Nemesis's goal looked a bit too open when Tao Ke Yin came free, but Peter Parker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Dom Spokojnej Młodości's goal looked a bit too open when Paavali Seracino Inglott came free, but Radomir Pryputnicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Project Nemesis's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
