Samuel Hultman started the match with the kick off. Calistrat Geangu hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Samuel Hultman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geronimo Ongile was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Mellansels stationsgäng's Jörgen Sjöman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Belmiro in the 5th minute of play. Geronimo Ongile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Hultman in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Josef Bäck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mellansels stationsgäng fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Gastres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Tidén came free, but Geronimo Ongile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Gastres FC defense, Samuel Hultman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geronimo Ongile. The Gastres FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geronimo Ongile should have stopped the shot. After having played for 19 minutes, Josef Bäck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mellansels stationsgäng's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josef Bäck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Gastres FC's Teobaldo Belmiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jörgen Sjöman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot 21 in the game by Teobaldo Belmiro from a close distance when the talented Jörgen Sjöman managed to make a qualified save. Mellansels stationsgäng's players were relieved. In the 25th minute of the match, Benjamin Neto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jörgen Sjöman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orvar Hansson in the 31st minute of play forced Gastres FC's goalkeeper Geronimo Ongile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Mellansels stationsgäng were awarded a corner. Sven-Ove Eliasson went to the cornerflag to take it. After 37 played minutes Mellansels stationsgäng got a freekick which was hit by Orvar Hansson. Lars Tidén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mellansels stationsgäng! The goalkeeper, Jörgen Sjöman, was totally fooled by Gastres FC's Benjamin Neto, who 45 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After the first half Mellansels stationsgäng were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

63 minutes into the match, Gastres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Hultman came free, but Geronimo Ongile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Josef Bäck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Geronimo Ongile was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 71st minute Teobaldo Belmiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörgen Sjöman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jörgen Sjöman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Gastres FC's Geronimo Ongile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Hultman in the 78th minute of play. Gastres FC made a substitution. Feliberto Cuarto replaced Tomasz Zurawski. Gastres FC were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Mellansels stationsgäng's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mathieu Koning took the corner. The corner led to Gastres FC's Eddy Ginanjar getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Teobaldo Belmiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jörgen Sjöman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teobaldo Belmiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgardo Javiar took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jörgen Sjöman. Jörgen Sjöman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. 94 minutes into the game, Josef Bäck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mellansels stationsgäng's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gastres FC the free kick. In the 94th match minute, Mellansels stationsgäng was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josef Bäck to maneuver through the defense.
