The crowd rose to their feet as FC Bal op het Dak's Dan Kjellman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Radomir Pryputnicki. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Tao Ke Yin put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Harvey Davies. Radomir Pryputnicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Kjellman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dom Spokojnej Młodości's Tolek Kowalski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Joop Meder in the 31 minute of the game. Tao Ke Yin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harvey Davies read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tao Ke Yin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dom Spokojnej Młodości's Bogumil Zaworski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Harvey Davies in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 89 minutes into the match, FC Bal op het Dak's goal looked a bit too open when Beniamin Lichorobiec came free, but Harvey Davies reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Bal op het Dak's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bogumil Zaworski was slow to take the kick. During this time Dom Spokojnej Młodości's players had a chance to rest. Harvey Davies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beniamin Lichorobiec in the 95th minute of play.
