Andres Lastur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frederico Hendrickx's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lilcho Ilchov in the 11th minute of play forced GERLIROJO Ψ's goalkeeper Andres Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ray Clemence made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Martin Jax sent off a good shot on target. Andres Lastur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lilcho Ilchov in the 32nd minute of the match. Lilcho Ilchov struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Andres Lastur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PHOENIX SC. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Jax made a kick off. Lilcho Ilchov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andres Lastur having to make a save. GERLIROJO Ψ's Andres Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lilcho Ilchov in the 51st minute of play. Ray Clemence made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Jax in the 53rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lilcho Ilchov got free with Andres Lastur in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute, Martin Jax got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. GERLIROJO Ψ's Epifanio Ibañez was substituted for Martin Jax. GERLIROJO Ψ's Eleuterio Benvido was substituted for Furtado Ozaolaza. In the 73rd minute, Frederico Hendrickx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute Epifanio Ibañez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Clemence saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PHOENIX SC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because GERLIROJO Ψ had won, even though PHOENIX SC had held more of the ball.
