The audience thought a goal was coming when Belo Alvarez got free with Tolis Prinianakis in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 11 minutes into the match, GREEN LIONS's goalkeeper Tolis Prinianakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Belo Alvarez. Tolis Prinianakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erlantz Bermejo in the 15th minute. Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Merexildo Raimundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GREEN LIONS's Tolis Prinianakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save GREEN LIONS from getting a goal against them. Tolis Prinianakis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Belo Alvarez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. Belo Alvarezs short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Tolis Prinianakis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tolis Prinianakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erlantz Bermejo's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Maurino Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calisto Flayre in the 33rd minute of the match. Maurino Serena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Merexildo Raimundo went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. GREEN LIONS's Tolis Prinianakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erlantz Bermejo in the 37th minute of play. Maurino Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Peredo in the 40th minute of the match. Arcadio Ramiréz kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. With a little luck, GREEN LIONS's Tolis Prinianakis got control of the ball when Belo Alvarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Belo Alvarez to make the kick off. Calisto Flayre's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Maurino Serena firmly grabbed it by the left post. A.D. Alcorcón's Eusebio Quijana was substituted for Natxo Cacheres. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.D. Alcorcón's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jorge Peredo was slow to take the kick. During this time GREEN LIONS's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, A.D. Alcorcón's Emmanuel Otero got a free kick in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erlantz Bermejo in the 67th minute of play forced GREEN LIONS's goalkeeper Tolis Prinianakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, GREEN LIONS's Maurino Serena threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Calisto Flayre, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.D. Alcorcón's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jorge Peredo was slow to take the kick. During this time GREEN LIONS's players had a chance to rest. Merexildo Raimundo came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Maurino Serena could save by the left post. GREEN LIONS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jorge Peredo in the 77th minute. Marcial Saez made a great header on GREEN LIONS's corner, it was just that A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd rose to their feet as GREEN LIONS's Jorge Peredo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maurino Serena. That made the score 1-2 after 80 minutes of play. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Leroy Antunez sped through GREEN LIONS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tolis Prinianakis. Maurino Serena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Calisto Flayre in the 90th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Calisto Flayre in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurino Serena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tolis Prinianakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leroy Antunez in the 92nd minute of play. GREEN LIONS were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
