In the 11th minute of the match Jorge Peredo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sitthachat Jampeehom skillfully saved the ball. Miguel Zuasnabar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tolis Prinianakis came out and tried to block the shot, but Miguel Zuasnabar slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. GREEN LIONS's Tolis Prinianakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save GREEN LIONS from getting a goal against them. Tolis Prinianakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Zuasnabar in the 20th minute of the match. After having played for 21 minutes, Miguel Zuasnabar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gavião Kyikatejê's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Zuasnabar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sitthachat Jampeehom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calisto Flayre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Miguel Zuasnabar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolis Prinianakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodney Lindov made a great header on Gavião Kyikatejê's corner, it was just that GREEN LIONS's Tolis Prinianakis managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gavião Kyikatejê fans cheered their team off the field, for while GREEN LIONS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
