Hans Otterlei started the match with the kick off. Jairo Boniel kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. La Cosa Nostra's Jairo Boniel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ödön Grill, made in the 6th minute of the game. 11 minutes into the match, La Cosa Nostra's Hans Otterlei sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tolis Prinianakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by GREEN LIONS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arnaldo Perpinya was slow to take the kick. During this time La Cosa Nostra's players had a chance to rest. 22 minutes into the match, Jorge Peredo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joel Delfino. La Cosa Nostra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Peredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 26 minutes into the match, GREEN LIONS's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Otterlei came free, but Tolis Prinianakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Delfino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calisto Flayre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Cosa Nostra were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after GREEN LIONS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arnaldo Perpinya took the corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hans Otterlei in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tolis Prinianakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. La Cosa Nostra's Steve Hodge was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tolis Prinianakis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 37th minute, Merexildo Raimundo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joel Delfino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Jairo Boniel hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Tolis Prinianakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Otterlei, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the match, La Cosa Nostra's goal looked a bit too open when Calisto Flayre came free, but Joel Delfino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Calisto Flayre made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, La Cosa Nostra's goal looked a bit too open when Nikos Kouzoulakis came free, but Joel Delfino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hans Otterlei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. La Cosa Nostra's Hans Otterlei got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joel Delfino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nikos Kouzoulakis in the 62nd minute. Grigoriy Medved hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. La Cosa Nostra's Marciano Bizen was substituted for Hans Otterlei. A collision led to La Cosa Nostra getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Grigoriy Medved hit a great ball. Joel Delfino acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 68th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jorge Peredo. In the 69th minute, Marciano Bizen made a precise shot to the right of Tolis Prinianakis. GREEN LIONS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 79th minute La Cosa Nostra were awarded a corner. Tytus Lepper went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Marciano Bizen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tolis Prinianakis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Joel Delfino made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Calisto Flayre sent off a good shot on target. Marciano Bizen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tolis Prinianakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute Nikos Kouzoulakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Delfino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steve Hodge hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 94thth minute of the game Calisto Flayre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Cosa Nostra's Joel Delfino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The La Cosa Nostra supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching GREEN LIONS's performance. The match ended with a win for GREEN LIONS.
