The audience was convinced that Merexildo Raimundo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joel Delfino was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. GREEN LIONS's Tolis Prinianakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Otterlei in the 28th minute of play. Joel Delfino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merexildo Raimundo in the 38th minute of the match. La Cosa Nostra's Joel Delfino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merexildo Raimundo in the 44th minute of play. When 狄正希 fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GREEN LIONS's protests and gave 狄正希 a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, 狄正希 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the game, Teofilo Benvide was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Cosa Nostra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GREEN LIONS the free kick. After a rather tough play, La Cosa Nostra's Teofilo Benvide got a free kick in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Merexildo Raimundo to make the kick off. In the 58th minute, Grigoriy Medved hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patryk Jazowski made in the 59th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by La Cosa Nostra's Steve Hodge. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans Otterlei in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tolis Prinianakis saved GREEN LIONS from getting behind. The supporters of La Cosa Nostra booed when GREEN LIONS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Peredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, GREEN LIONS's Jorge Peredo got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 72nd match minute, La Cosa Nostra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Bizen to maneuver through the defense. Marciano Bizen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tolis Prinianakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marciano Bizen got free with Tolis Prinianakis in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teofilo Benvide hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Joel Delfino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Peredo in the 80th minute of the match. Joel Delfino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 袁棋荣, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 86th minute Jorge Peredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Delfino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marciano Bizen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tolis Prinianakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Joel Delfino came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by GREEN LIONS's Merexildo Raimundo. But to his dismay, Merexildo Raimundo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the La Cosa Nostra players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for GREEN LIONS.
