With a little luck, SC Braga's Laçın Cumayev got control of the ball when Filip Bochinski tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Torrent got free with Laçın Cumayev in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th minute of the match Chivos de Punto Fijo got a corner. SC Braga's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Filip Bochinski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Cezary Makomaski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SC Braga's Laçın Cumayev did a great save. The supporters of SC Braga booed when Chivos de Punto Fijo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zhao Shu Cheng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Cieri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Dani Hernández tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chivos de Punto Fijo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Braga.
